Within the troubles of life, everyone makes interpretations according to their own inner world and the equipment of that world; they make sense of life in that way. For the human being supposes that what they see is on the outside, but they actually see what is inside them.
The altruistic and virtuous person who cares about human dignity and labour, and possesses constructive impulses, sees everyone like themselves. They read everyone with good intention, look clean, think clean, and act clean. Because their system of perception and evaluation is highly developed. There is justice in their heart, purification in their word, and light in their action. For they know that whatever the essence of the human being is, their eye is that too.
Nevertheless, in selfish attitudes that do not care about human dignity and labour, and possess distorted impulses, prejudices and delusions speak. Truths are veiled.
For this reason, a liar supposes everyone is a liar. A thief thinks everyone is watching for an opportunity. A dishonourable person knows everyone to be spineless like themselves. An impudent person deems everyone boundless. With whatever they are preoccupied, they suppose everyone is preoccupied with the same. In whatever way they compare, they compare everyone in that manner. Whichever thing they hide, they accuse everyone of it. Because their soul is defective, and their system of perception and evaluation is insufficient. They are full of complexes.
For the human being, in truth, sees not the person before them, but the world within themselves. The eye may wish to look far away, but if the heart is dirty, the vision narrows. Truth is not on the outside; it is on the inside. The one who wishes to see the outside well must first cleanse their inside. True wisdom begins with the human being seeing their own inside. The one who can see their inside can understand another as well. And it is then that everything falls into place: the one who purifies themselves purifies the world too. The one who honours themselves grants dignity to the human being as well. The one who knows themselves approaches the Creator.
Consequently, the one who does not see their own essence in the light cannot see the truth fully and accurately either. For many different things intervene.
